Where to begin? We had no need for such a large two-story five bedroom home that we raised our children in and who had all "flown the nest", but we thought we couldn't downsize to something smaller since our property taxes were so low on the house we had owned for close to forty years. Chad educated us about Prop 19 and how we were eligible to transfer our low property taxes from our house we purchased in the mid-80s to a smaller 2-bedroom home close to the beach.
